How to install the game? –

Install/Update the Oculus SDK –

Load the Unity project files into the Oculus folder in Unity (Unity -> Import -> Oculus) –

Run your Oculus Rift headset while pressing the Play button on your gamepad (it should appear as a disk icon in the side bar) –

Put your Oculus Rift headset on, make sure you have it well aligned, focus the camera towards the ground and shoot –

Gameplay Devlogs –

1.0.0 – the first public release of the game, it’s pretty bad, have fun watching me add fire, sun and rain – there’s some useful stuff there, or you can learn to make good games on the side – cheers.

Changelog –

1.2.0 – fixed/re-worked the loading crash bug when loading the levels (thanks for the help everyone, sorry the experience was so bad!) – added a checkpoint system that lets you save your progress in-game (save your disk from the play button)

1.3.0 – fixed the « the grass has been grown » notification bug that would happen when the cutscene would end before it was done – thanks.

1.4.0 – changed the grass growth « best option » so that the playing player’s grass always has the best chance of growing – this is because in VR the player is not the « main character » so we have to make sure the player is getting a reward to make them want to play longer – this basically just means the grass always grows best when it’s played on

1.5.0 – some grass players have complained that they get grass growth update spam. The solution to this problem is to be a bit more greedy with your watering and less hedonic. By that I mean, don’t make the grass grow 5cm in 2 days as you can get in real life, but instead make the grass grow at least 10cm in 5 days, or maybe 15cm in 7 days. As you can see, your virtual grass will still get a lot more water overall and be healthier in the long run.
