invoking her ability once again, she was able to manipulate the gravity of antimatter’s world, causing the enemy to fall into the middle of the road, where it was crushed. her people had continued to develop their power, and their need for knowledge was insatiable. if their world continued to gain knowledge, it was possible that it could soon achieve the level of enlightenment reached by her former civilization. singularity now realized that she had to let go of the need to control, or contain, what she was now in order to protect her people from themselves.
with that, she returned to her new home, which was based on a small farm that she had constructed. it was in this hideout that she determined that while she was a warrior, she was not a killer, even when it was her own people who she was killing, and so she went back to the ship to announce her choice.
on another corner of the world, dr. tempest bell was horrified at the news from annalise, who informed her that her son had been teleported to this new world. with the danger to him now over, she then informed tempest that they would be leaving, taking the boy with them. but he demanded to know who he was and where he came from, and then demanded that tempest talk to him.
singularity began to treat pudding as a friend and offered to help her find out more about her former life, which ended up with her trapped in a forest by darkland, a killer tarantula, but the two managed to escape. as singularity looked on, pudding was eaten by the spider, and the last we see of him is a scream of blood! ulala later notes that pudding didn’t deserve to die like that, and tells singularity it was not her fault, but singularity just stared at the talking crystal ball she had found in the bird’s nest and wouldn’t explain. she then stepped out to capture pudding’s next victims.
10 days later the legends are back at their home, but not in the old way. all of them are a little bit older, song, and deshi are now a dora maily, ava sharpe is dating matt and sara is now a botanist! they are interrupted by another surprise from the a.f.s. as a group of government operatives go by and deshi gives the group intel she has been collecting for months, the intel that senator ross and carter hall are in cahoots to limit the legion of space and rocket. the operation ends with the legends breaking ross out of a locked room and using this new information to send everyone home to their past.
across town in his office mick, hank and khufu are also celebrating the day as well, the day sara died. they receive a visit from captain marvel and she comes in the guise of sara. she tells them how she came to be alive and about the journey she made to get here.
spacegirl planned a last-ditch assault on the new a.f.s., killing several of the guards and capturing professor x. they would get what they wanted, but one of the remaining a. operatives intercepted the transmission and alerted the government of her plans. they were there to arrest her, but singularity managed to escape. he returned to a. headquarters.
a trip to a future dimension, fully equipped with the resources of an entire nation. the a.f.s. did exactly what they set out to do, lure in the most dangerous villains for a group of scientist to study. they then watched as the villains were brought back to the present reality and placed under the care of dr. tempest bell. where they stayed as her research subjects.
