The first thing to note is that the toolbar is broken up into sections. There’s an address bar, a tool selection bar, and a drawing tool bar (painting and drawing). All of this is located on top of the image selection bar. Now, the address bar is pretty much a no-brainer. After all, we use the address bar to fill in the URL of a website. You’re already going to go to the « website » of the page, why spend more time on that? The drawing tool bar is also pretty straightforward. After all, we spend more time doing « drawing » than anything else.
If you’re looking for a simple yet powerful image management system, look no further than Adobe Lightroom 5. This is my 9 year old 5-star review of an editing app that will forever change the way that photographers view and manage their digital images.

If you are using a different Adobe product, you can certainly use Lightroom 5, but you will not get the benefit of many of the new features that we will discuss in this review.
As we noted in the Reviews section above, the 2023 release of Photoshop is worth a look at if you are a normal consumer user of Photoshop, or an intermediate consumer user of Photoshop. If you are a pro or Mac App Store professional, then Premiere Elements is likely to be a better deal.
