Game developers are starting to bravely mention the words “open world”, a style of gameplay in which the player is given a large world to explore, with dozens (or in some cases, hundreds) of activities and dozens of side-quests to keep the player’s fingers about them. The term “sandbox-style” game is employed too, for this type of world tends to feel a lot more free and open than the more typical “sandbox-lite” style, where the player is given a certain amount of linear missions and side missions where the player can take them. In open world games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed games, Batman: Arkham Knight and Fallout 4 the player is given a world that they can explore at their own leisure, and they don’t often encounter further missions until they have abandoned the main storyline and gone their own way.

Spriter: Delta Missions Design Boss (which we’ve heretofore referred to as Delta Missions) is an open world stealth sandbox game that is being Kickstarted by Star Kid Media Ltd. on December 6, 2018. The aim for this game is to release it in Spring of 2019 on the PC and is PS4 version will be coming out in April 2019. For now, however, you can only pre-order the game through Kickstarter and Alpha Game Pick Up.
