Behringer Driver Asio

i have a behringer umc22 usb card (model number umc22) installed in windows 8.1. i used to use behringer drivers in the past but i stopped using them since i was having problems with it. i have installed the asio4all drivers and checked the settings in the behringer client, but it only seems to use the audio interface which is the default card. i can’t access the audio interface which is the card which i want to use. can you help me?

is the interface driver shown on the behringer client not the one that’s being used by the software? you need to check and see which is active and which is not. if you can not make sense of the behringer client, you may need to contact support. if that doesn’t work, then you may need to contact the behringer driver developer.

the behringer umc22 is a usb audio interface. i found the drivers on behringer website. i installed the drivers with the installer provided by behringer. when i unplug the usb audio interface, i cannot hear anything on my pc. i go to the behringer mixer and the behringer mixer is not working. so, the behringer interface is not working. i want to know why it is not working. this is a big problem.

1. can you provide a log report with the daw software for a session when you plug in the behringer? this will show whether the input on the behringer is detected by the software. if the input is detected, then the driver is working.

ok, this is a bit confusing. i am thinking you are using these 2 pieces of hardware, but its like you are mixing 2 different products. let me explain: the behringer asio-driven audio is a standalone hardware device. you get a standard output jack, which you plug into a standard headphone/line input jack, and it uses the standard asio drivers. you do this with a separate piece of hardware. the behringer link software, though, is just a software and a set of plugins. it does not require any actual hardware. you can plug the behringer link directly to your computer or your audio interface. it will either show up as an input or as a separate output. when you plug the behringer link into a separate hardware, its just a microphone. in theory you can plug it directly to the board, or to a guitar amp, and it will sound like a mic on either. if you are using a mac, you need to use the audio midi setup to set the behringer link as a microphone. for windows, just leave it set as a mic. i would recommend doing this anyway, because the behringer link is a piece of software that i think you need to buy from behringer, and a software that i like to make as easy as possible to use. if you decide to use a hardware interface, you have to buy that too, and there is a lot of confusion as to what to buy. the behringer link will cost you about $50, and most audio interfaces cost at least $100, but if you already own a behringer link, then you only need to buy the software. if you are using it with a separate hardware interface, then you need to buy that interface. if you are using it with a laptop, then you need to buy a cheap usb microphone, because they tend to work much better. otherwise, if you are using a hardware interface, you can plug directly into your computer and use the behringer link software. in any case, i would strongly suggest using the behringer software for your actual audio recording. use the behringer link software only to turn on or off the behringer link, adjust a couple of settings, and view the full list of plugins that you have installed. the behringer link software is more for convenience and less for actual recording quality. the behringer link software is also much better at interfacing with a hardware interface than a standalone piece of hardware. if you have a mac, please use this link to order the behringer link software, and use this link to order a behringer link hardware interface:

i have had the same problem. i am using behringer irig pk-5 outboard, asio4all with windows 10. i followed the instructions, but the levels go to 0 when i press play. i am using asio4all driver. please help. it is a disaster. thanks.
i have the same problem, and have tried two different asio4all behringer drivers, and both of them do the same thing: after i’ve adjusted the levels in the behringer mix pad, pressing play or record shows both audio and meters, but no audio or level. i have reset the behringer mix pad and the asio4all behringer drivers, and i have tried different computer configurations, with the same result.
i can’t get the same recording results as the previous driver. you can plug the usb audio interface in and out as you wish. if you leave it in, it won’t disconnect when you close the computer. use the dedicated recording software to record and set the input type to asio4all. if you need to record on multiple computers, make sure they are all using the same audio interface and driver.
i tried to connect the usb interface to my computer, but the the interface would not be recognized. i had to use the behringer driver on the server. i tried connecting the usb interface using the asio4all driver (using the same settings as the behringer driver), and this did not work, so i tried using the behringer driver, and this worked.
i have a behringer uca222 studio usb interface and the behringer uca222 studio vu control software. i want to use my behringer as a synth and record using my computer with ableton live. i have read the first time you have to connect the audio interface to a usb port on your computer and run the software as admin but after that it is ok. the problem is, i can’t make it record at the same time as the synth. it will only record when i’m not playing any synth sound.
