[lance] is a command line tool designed to launch
multiple processes concurrently, and then monitor them.
lance is a great tool for launching python scripts and
monitoring their progress in the background.

To actually get the information that you want:
Try this at the command line (replace the IP address and port numbers with your own):
$ netstat -anp | grep :8132

Once you get a response from netstat, you will need to look at the left hand column of the output to find the PID of your process. (You can use the man page for netstat to help you.)
Once you have that PID, the output from ps -p PID should have the information you want.
To find the PID for netstat:
$ netstat -anp | grep :8132
$

To find the PID for ps -p PID:
$ ps -p PID | grep PID

What is lance

lance is a Python daemon used to automate all the
requirements to have a system daemon running and monitoring.
This is done by listing all the files to be monitored and
allowing the daemon to start a service whenever any of the
listed files change.

lance Architecture
