That’s why it’s so hard to understand, why do you keep « saying » that this game will only be released for PC. It is not in your power to release this game only for PS4 or XONE for example. I believe that SCEE have the full control on this game and if they want to take 1/3 of their sales for Steam, they can. Don’t think that the release of the game is going to be only for PC, because there’s no point in doing that, or I’ll release it on every platform.
The fact that there’s no way of acquiring/updating the game other than the original DLC is so irritating because both of the episodes are basically the same game. You should’ve released it like this:
1st DLC: The original game
2nd DLC: New music (included with the original DLC)
3rd DLC: New sounds, new graphics, etc
It should’ve been like that because either you released the same game twice

On Fallout 3 you have a giant slingshot that you use to launch the giant missiles and on Rift there are the giant spiders and the sword. But here, the environment is your weapon. What is a « sandbox style game »? This is the description:
In sandbox style games, the player creates an environment to act
within. They generally have fewer linear levels and, instead, the
player can make their own decisions about how they act within the
environment. They also often have emergent gameplay.
I think you’ll get more answers if you ask your question more specifically.
In the case of Defcon: How to Survive, the sandbox style is so well illustrated that the game designers and developers specifically chose to create a « sandbox » style. The game was originally made by a company called Chillblast in the early 90s, but it was acquired in 2013 by the one and only Defcon Game Development and it was updated in 2013 as a result of its acquisition.
In the beginning of this video, there is a scene where you’re walking through a park. It looks as though the developer/creators did not plan for you to go over a fence, but instead, they had the scene created to be intended to be experienced in this manner.
The first thing you should know about sandbox style games is that it has little resemblance to actual RPG games that you’ve played. Let’s take Skyrim for example. There are linear levels, and you cannot kill anything to gain experience points. There are specific locations that are assigned to your character and they are set in stone. You cannot create your own locations to progress. While there are certain objects that you can, at your own discretion, use to your advantage, there are none that you can’t. You cannot pick up a weapon and go kill a Dragon at will. You cannot pick up a dragon head and destroy a village. You cannot put an end to war by becoming a great hero and ridding the land of evil. These are the things you cannot do in a sandbox game.

If you like to drive anything resembling a sports car, then I’m sure you’ve heard of the Mini Cooper before. If not, it’s something that, once, was able to drive people around town with skill by its sheer fun factor. As the third iteration of the Cooper, it’s a way better car than the previous two.
Better than the previous two? Sure. Better than the previous BMW 3-series? Sure. More powerful, lighter, more technologically advanced? That’s right. But, if you want a fun car that never fails to entertain, the previous one was good enough.
The 2019 Mini Cooper S is a step up from that. If you’re unfamiliar with Minis, they take their roots from the original racing driver, John Cooper. Apparently, he raced them as a hobby in England and were the first Mini’s. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather listen to my ambulance siren or my heart as it beats than a screaming Mini. The S model does both better. This model however, uses more modern technology to get the most out of its space. Though the look is dated compared to other sports cars around today, it is still a car with a nice finish.
Honestly, the only thing about this car that look dated is the steering wheel. On the left, if you’ve driven a Mini before, the wheel does feel true to size. To the right, is where the problem lies. It’s quite average-sized compared to most sports cars and the wheel actually looks waaay too large.

I think 2016 still hasn’t processed the fact that my favorite camping series of all time is coming out on April 25th. Or rather, when is now that we’re receiving official trailers and information on new titles, where we haven’t quite found much more than the occasional merchandise and pictures. It’s a minor miracle at this point! A few weeks back, I posted about the original PC games in the series to good reception; this time, it’s my turn to tease you all with more official footage of the newest installment: Camping Simulator: The Squad.
So yeah, The Squad comes out on April 25th but this trailer kind of like what the first trailer for the original PC games looked like. After fifteen years, the developers are keeping a little bit of a rough and retro look. The game is all about supplies; you must make sure your pack is stocked with everything you need to survive a night camping in the wilderness. The trailer tells us that you’ll be diving into your inventory to find “realistic” items like lanterns, matches, and food. You’ll learn how to light a fire under the hood in this trailer; it takes a little bit of practice, but you’ll feel a little bit like a s’mores master in the process.
From the screenshots and the official website, it looks like you’ll be doing your survival without the help of a vehicle; you’ll be using the back of your truck to cook your food on. But you might have to walk some distance to reach wilderness areas. So you’ll be needing to pack plenty of rations and gear ahead of time, which I think is where the unofficial logo came from. If you like survival games and like picking up and using random things, you’ll probably have a blast camping along the water or walking over mud and soggy mounds of dirt to open up what appears to be a massive field of grass. That being said, The Squad also looks less like a survival game than your traditional camping simulator. It’s reminiscent of a more traditional racing sim, as well, in this trailer (and as I’ve said in previous reviews).
Despite the visual style that seems almost pornographically retro, to anyone familiar with the original games, Camping Simulator: The Squad still looks like it will capture all the same
